  7. Hi Meg,I hate defending advertising, because so much of it is so bad and ineffective. However, it is hard to dispute that without it, most of the internet would NOT be free. Although I don’t like most advertising I see, I appreciate that it allows me to consume huge amounts of content without paying. For that reason, in order to keep things like Facebook and Twitter free, they both will excel at advertising solutions for brands and marketers. My post is really a challenge to all of us to come up with ad formats for streams that don’t suck (like the banner ad does).

I take pictures of everything, my dog, my kids, nature, buildings and anything that catches my eye. I’m not a photographer, but this camera is easy to use and it’s settings enable me to take some awesome pictures. The more familiar I get with it, the better my pictures are turning out. This is a great little camera for point and shoot and is extremely easy to use. The only thing I wish it had (unless it has it and I haven’t found it yet) is color filters for sunset photos.

  21. I think the problem with that is, it doesn’t make clear the difference between a synopsis and a blurb. In the old days it was clear which was which. But even with these new shortened treatments, they are not one and the same. Even in my attenuated synopsis I revealed the ending and put character names in bold. I wouldn’t do either of those things for a pitch or blurb. Oh well, I seem to be learning so let’s hope I’ve finally got the hang of it.

There should still be a rating system, but it shouldn't be something that people can spam up the rating with. A rating system that goes by how many favorites a video has per subscriber would possibly achieve this goal. More subscribers would mean more favorites needed for a good rating.
